Ayngaran Producer says KATHTHI is not the first movie for Lyca productions!
There is a big controversy surrounding the Ilayathalapathy Vijay starring "Kaththi" movie directed by A.R Murugadoss. The movie is under trouble because of many rumours spreading in social media spaces about one of the Producer and partner of the movie Mr. Subashkaran Alliraja owner of Lyca productions close association with the Sri Lankan president Mr. Rajapaksa, Tamil Activist were against this association with Lyca productions, stating that it would hurt the sentiments of Tamils. But later Producer Karunamoorthy of Ayngaran officially gave a clarification that subashkaran of Lyca productions had no such links with Rajapakse and he too was a Tamilian and has been a very close friend to him for many years! Karunakaran also stated that almost 40% of Kaththi shooting is complete, Vijay will act in a dual role and they are aiming for a possible release this Diwali. He never stopped with that but also went on give another info that "Kaththi" is not the first film produced by Lyca productions! They were the producers for "Pirivom Sandhipom" starring Cheran directed by Karu Palaniappan under the production company named as "Gnanam Films" and the producer's name was mentioned as A. subashkaran!
