Vishnuvardhan reveals Billa is Ajith's Idea

The year was 2007, Actor Ajith Kumar had a miserable start in the form of Disastrous "Aalwar" and later an average Kireedom, But the year ended on a high note thanks to the Remake of yesteryear classic "Billa"  Directed by Vishnuvardhan. The movie went on to become one of the Biggest Blockbuster of the year and The biggest Hit in Ajith's career at that time. Now almost after 7 years from the release, Vishnuvardhan has opened up regarding the movie in a different perceptive, he revealed that Actor Ajith wanted him to direct a movie and came to know it was Billa, vishnu was initially little worried considering that it was a remake of Superstar Rajinikanth's Movie and the pressure on him would be huge, but Ajith was the one who calmed him down and gave several ideas including the slick visual presentation of the movie, also Ajith had instructed the director that there should be no similarities between the original version and the present version to which the director obliged , the movie after release got overwhelming response especially for its slick presentation and for its unique style contrasting to the original version. The movie was declared as a Blockbuster and rest is history. Vishnuvardhan is right now busy with his next movie with his brother Kreshna and Arya in the lead role and the movie is titled as "Yatchan"  

Thala 55 Update

Thala Ajith's upcoming movie with director Gautham menon which is tentatively titled as Thala 55 and it is mainly based on few incidents happening in and around Chennai, the movie's main plot will revolve around the Chennai region. Ajith who was seen sporting the same salt and pepper hairstyle in this movie too, after the ongoing schedule gets completed Thala Ajith will take a break of about one month to reduce his weight and change his hairstyle for shooting the next portions of the younger version in the movie, as we reported earlier the 'Veeram Star' will not be playing dual role in the movie instead he will be portrayed in two different versions completely contrasting to one another.

THALA 55 Is a Murder Mystery?

Actress Trisha who is also a part of Thala Ajith and Gautham Menon's movie tentatively titled as Thala55 and it is well known that the shooting of this much hyped movie has been taken place at various parts in Chennai from ECR to Mount Road, Nandhanam signal etc. The movie is said to be a crime Thriller and Ajith plays an investigating officer in the movie. There is a recent news spreading in "Media" that the story is about Murder mystery of one of the Main character in the movie other than Ajith and Anushka, this cold blooded murder incident happens before the general public at the ECR region and shocks the entire State. Ajith along with Anushka investigates this murder case and how he deals with the criminal forms the rest of the story.

Thala 55 is An Action Packed Crime Thriller

 "Thala55" is said to be an action packed crime thriller movie and the 1st leg of the shoot had been taken place at various locations at ECR region featuring Thala Ajith and Anushka Shetty, the next portions of the shoot were the very risky action sequences featuring Ajith, the scenes were shot in the pedestrian filled areas such as Mount road and Nandhanam signal and it is said to be an adrenaline rushing CAR chase sequence.



According to the team the Scenes were brilliantly shot and it will be a complete action fest while watching it in the big screen. Now Thala fans who are very eager to get the glimpse of the 1st look of the movie and now they must be very happy after hearing this news from the Thala55 team.

Shooting has been stopped for Ajith - Gautham menon movie

Director Gautham Menon is a very busy man these days thanks to the untitled movie with Thala Ajith, the shooting of this much hyped big budget venture started few weeks back featuring Ajith and Anushka. Recent news is that the shooting has come to a brief halt, reason told is, a very grand set is to erected, so it needs lot of time to do that, so as of now the shooting has been paused for a brief stint. Meanwhile Thala fans are all geared up for the 1st look and it is said to be released within this month, Hopefully!  

Thala 55 update

After a much delayed start, the shooting of the untitled movie of Ajith - Gautham menon started few days back, social media spaces were flooding with images of Thala Ajith and Gautham, both smiling and were seen sharing a lighter moment at the shooting spot. Another update came from the DOP of Thala55, Dan MacArthur, he stated that they shot few interesting action scenes which were cool according to him and also he mentioned that Ajith braved the heat and co-operated well for the Action scenes. There is a recent buzz in K-town that Ajith will be portrayed in two versions in the movie, so can we expect a two different getup's from Thala!

Gautham Menon about Thala55

Gautham menon who is busy finalizing the script for his upcoming film with Thala Ajith, has declined the news going rounds in media about him playing a cameo in the film, the Kaakha kaakha director informed the media today it was a plain rumour and he also asked them and the fans to wait for the offical updates regarding the complete cast and crew and other details.
Will the fans be patient enough to wait for few more days? Fingers crossed! Hope the team comes up with a good news in few days and make the fans happy.
