Kochadaiiyaan Fails to Enter The 100 Crores Club

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan which was reportedly made on a "Budget" of around INR 120 crores fell short of the 100 crores mark worldwide in terms of "Gross", Kochadaiiyaan's Tamil "Version" received good response in  Home territory - Tamilnadu and managed to rake in above INR 52 Crores, whereas it received lukewarm response in other versions, Telugu Version Vikramasimha managed to gross around just 7-8 Crores overall and in Hindi version too the movie was a below average venture.

In Overseas countries the movie did not perform as big when compared to Superstar's previous Movies like "Enthiran" and "Sivaji", but still managed to collect a decent amount thanks to the pre release Hype and SUPERSTAR power , Overall the movie managed to collect around INR 20 Crores at the "Overseas market"

Kochadaiiyaan 1st Week Collections

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan which was released few days back is not only doing wonderful Business at the domestic circuit but also good biz. in overseas countries, especially USA, UK, Australia, Malaysia etc. In US and Canada alone this Superstar movie had managed to rake in a sum of around $728,150 which is equivalent to INR 4.3 Crores. 

Collections from Other countries are also reported to be excellent. Overall the movie has managed to rake in a total sum of around an estimated 70+ crores Gross worldwide in 1 week. Meanwhile the producer and investors are getting a good share out of their INVESTMENTS now, but the verdict of the movie will be only revealed by next week since the Budget and other expenses were too high and need few more days to recover their entire "Investments". Fingers crossed!  

Kamal Hassan about "Kochadaiiyaan"

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan which was released this Friday got overwhelming response not only from critics but also from the audience, everyone who watched the movie were all praise for the debutante director Soundarya Ashwin Rajinikanth. The movie has been watched and appreciated by several celebrities and the recent to join the list is none other than the "Universal Hero"  Ulaganayagan Dr. Kamal Hassan, yes the Vishwaroopam star was seen attending a special show and was been welcomed by the director Soundarya in a recent picture and certain sources revealed us that Kamal Hassan was pleased with Kochadaiiyaan and had lauded the director for all her efforts and for bringing this new technology to India. Certainly the Debutante director must feel very happy now after getting appreciated by none other than the "ulaganayagan" Kamal Hassan Himself!

Kochadaiiyaan(All Versions) 1st Day Business Report

 Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan was released yesterday and got a humongous response especially the Tamil version got the biggest opening worldwide in recent times, in USA the collections from the premier shows alone fetched around $102,402 and the movie ended up at 13th position on Thursday, since the Tamil version got good response from both critics and audience the collections are expected to increase this weekend. In Tamilnadu the movie received a thunderous  opening, the 1st day collections in TN should be very huge infact.






But the same cannot be said for other versions of kochadaiiyaan, the Telugu version titled as Vikramasimha is getting mixed reviews and one cannot compare it with superstar's previous blockbuster Enthiran's opening day collections, Most importantly good collections from A.P depends upon the run in upcoming few days. Hindi version got mixed reviews from critics and the movie got lukewarm response on its opening day of its release! But since Tamilnadu is the prime market, the business here so far is great at the home territory and in fact since the movie got good feedback from audience the number of shows has been increased in few key areas in TN. Certainly Thalaivar's fans can rejoice and celebrate now.
